This PL session will focus on the Illinois Holocaust Museum and Education Center’s digital hologram resource as an example of the power of storytelling and how to bring community based experiential resources into class. In the session teachers will engage with the platform to learn from critical stories of resistance, engage in learning and practice of key Culturally Responsive Disciplinary Inquiry skills, and get practical planning support and models of how to integrate powerful community resources within the existing CPS Social Science curriculum.
