In this interactive session, participants will explore how to build an inclusive PE and Health environment where multilingual students feel safe, supported, and ready to thrive.

Guided by strategies from our Multilingual Framework, this workshop connects core theory directly to practical classroom execution. Led by a member of our Teacher Leadership Team, you will go beyond traditional strategy lists to experience teaching through the eyes of an English Learner. First, you’ll step into a immersive simulation of a PE lesson without language supports to experience the cognitive load, anxiety, and frustration many EL students face. Then, you will re-experience the same context transformed by concrete, framework-aligned techniques—such as visual scaffolding, non-verbal cues, modified grouping, and linguistically accessible movement routines.

You will leave with classroom-ready practices, actionable insights from real-world implementation, and a renewed perspective on making Health and PE an empowering space for every learner.

Looking to elevate your best practices to better serve students with disabilities? In this engaging session, educators will explore the shift from basic inclusion to rightful presence, fostering a culture of true belonging in the health and physical education classroom. Participants will walk away with actionable, evidence-based strategies spanning the psychomotor, cognitive, and social-affective domains. Educators will rethink paraprofessional support, and build asset-based partnerships with families and multidisciplinary teams to maximize the impact on student during that time in physical education.

Participants will discover how Amira’s real-time, AI-driven oral reading assessments and tutoring insights flow seamlessly into Branching Minds to simplify Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) management.
